We were delayed, it was inevitable. COVID has created chaos for suppliers the world around. The caravan was delayed, the tow vehicle was delayed and the development of the accessories we needed to safely tour were definitely in the slow lane. We made the most of it and explored our own backyard. These are the side trips, day trips and overnighters we did to fill the gap.
The Trip Blog
The story of the journey proper – taking the slow lane to explore Australia. This blog will really start the day the caravan arrives and we truly enter the slow lane. We want to tell the whole story, the amazing places we visit, the people we meet and the challenges we face. Despite all the fun we will have, it won’t be easy.

To make this trip happen we need the right equipment. The 4WD, the caravan, the upgrades, the toys and the bits and pieces we think will make our lives easier here and there.
