On our last full day in Carnarvon we decided to go and visit the Quobba Blowholes, just north of town.

We’ve seen (or tried to see) blowholes before and found them unreliable. Quobba Blowholes was very reliable. With only a moderate swell and an incoming tide, these things were absolutely roaring. The main one went off repeatedly and on the bigger waves several of the smaller ones joined in too. We even managed to get some decent photos! We came back later (after doing some snorkelling nearby) and they were still going strong.

A rare family photo! Blowhole erupting
