As is usually the case, we spent a day exploring Geraldton. We targeted the waterfront area, exploring on foot as much as we could.
The waterfront was nice with plenty of parks and playground to keep people entertained. We walked its length, spotting some swimming spots, the seals and had a chat with the locals.
Later we stopped at the carefully planned HMAS Sydney II Memorial and the Batavia exhibit at the museum. It was a pleasant morning, until we decided to divide and conquer the shopping. Christian got his first taste of Christmas shopping. He did not enjoy the experience of finding the presents.
