Today we headed inland to explore the area around Collie. There were some big fires in the area so we played it safe.
Collie is currently most famous being home to a bankrupt coal mine. We stopped to get information on the National Parks and fires. It didn’t look good for us, the main Park we wanted to see had been evacuated and closed. That was off the table for a few days.
Instead we explored their mural trail, lunched by the river, took a few scenic drives and found a section of forest we could explore. A stop in Gnomesville rounded out the day.
