We wanted to explore Cape Naturaliste, the Lighthouse and some of the spectacular coastline in the area.

We did it, but realised just how over-loved this part of Western Australia is. Yallingup was absolute chaos and we aborted that visit without stopping. We decided that the natural attractions would be our best bet. It was a good choice and this section of coastline is stunning. Cliffs, beaches, forest, rocky headlands; it had everything.

We made Cape Naturalist and did a walk. It was tough, but afforded some of the best views. Plus we saw some seals far below and chatted with some locals. It’s a stunning park (and area) that would be even better outside the busy Christmas season.
