After keeping in touch with Sean, he had recommended we do some caves. His picks were Giant Cave and Jewel Cave. Who are we to disagree?
Today we did Giant Cave. It was self-guided, following the roped path. Helmets and headlights are provided and off you go. You are given some warnings too; you will crawl, clamber, scale ladders and work up a sweat. Our kind of thing.
The warnings were correct and it was certainly a challenge. It was a great experience in a remarkable setting.
