We had three nights booked in Pemberton at the community campground. It had a swimming pool adjacent.

With the temperature hitting a warmish 36 degrees the pool got a visit. It’s not a traditional pool, but a weir/pool/swimming hole arrangement built into the river. It was popular with locals and tourists alike.

Its most popular aspect (with our girls at least) was the floating pontoon. A bunch of joined blue cubes bobbing their way around the area. Untethered to anything and moved and steered by sheer swimmer power alone, they spent almost an hour playing on, off and around it.
