Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks are two of the most popular natural attractions in the Walpole and Denmark areas. We’d been warned they’d be overrun, but took a chance.
It seemed to work and we were able to park and find a spot on the sand. Greens Pool is a pool (surprise, surprise) formed by huge granite type boulders. It breaks up the big swells and created a calm patch to swim, play and snorkel.
We decided to try snorkelling and it wasn’t great, but if you got out towards the edges the fish, seaweed and boulder combination was pretty. The only problem, even with our spring suits on, we cannot last too long. Damn warmed blooded creatures.
