On our second day of touring the Riverland we stopped at Renmark. Arguably the most touristy of the small towns it was a great morning.
It claims to have the best waterfront and so far we would have to agree. On the bend, easily accessible with beautiful trees and no houses it was certainly pretty. Plus, we got given heaps of information about what to do and what was still closed.
On the advice of the information centre we took the scenic route back, taking in an epic lookout (over the cliffs onto the river) and then took the car ferry over the water. Pretty cool, bridges can be overrated.
