Arriving in Adelaide at lunchtime gave us most of the afternoon to explore. With today being the hottest day during our stay, we headed for Glenelg.
Christian made a work trip to Adelaide years ago. He stayed at Glenelg and enjoyed it. It’s beachside so we went to see it. Annoyingly, the clouds had started to gather so it was a little cool. Still, we filled an afternoon and it’s obvious why it’s a popular spot. With a jetty, giant ferris wheel, beaches, parks and lovely old buildings, what’s not to like?
Traffic, it turns out traffic is not to like. We had forgotten the capital city penalty.
