Despite the weather we decided it was time to finally see the mouth of the mighty Murray River.
After seeing it in so many places and exploring the towns along the way, seeing where it entered the ocean was special. We had come close on our previous day trip to the Coorong, but this morning, we stood on the beach and watched where the water flowed through a gap in the sand and out to sea.
