As ever we chopped and changed our itinerary, deciding to stop at Standley Chasm on our way into Alice Springs.
It was a good call, as it gives us some more flexibility in our time here. The Chasm is quite special, with high red walls narrowing to about 3m wide. Best viewed right at midday we were a little late, but the effect of the sun on the walls was still obvious.
