Our final destination in the NT had been reached; Karlu Karlu (the Devils Marbles). It had been a long drive but we still wanted to explore.
All four of us took a walk on the loop track around the main formation and climbed up to stand on the top. The formation is very cool and the resemblance to marbles is uncanny.
The two kids gave up, so the adults explored farther afield and found a few more trails. They took you to some of the outlying formations and the combination of no people, a setting sun and these special rocks made for some great photos.
We both agreed this alternate track was better than the main one.
