We had one final “fun” stop on this trip before we reached the end. It was two nights in Richmond to break up the loooong drive and to see the home of the Kronosaurus.
Hannah continues to be a dinosaur lover and Richmond is home to Kronosaurus Korner, a museum dedicated to the local dinosaur finds. It was a non-negotiable visit.
The museum has an audio commentary in addition to the signage. There are 36 different audio extracts to hear. Hannah was determined to hear all 36 of them. Add this to the fact that she can confidently read the signage for herself, she was here for the long haul.
Long after the rest of us had finished, Hannah was still reading, looking and listening. It kept her genuinely engaged the whole time. She marvelled over the fossils and displays. She told Christian to listen to number 33 and pointed to the Kronosaurus fossil to see the bite that cause its death.
Who was he to argue.
