With the Isuzu at ARB getting some long overdue final modifications we were a little stuck. No wheels meant a couple of days at the caravan park while we waited.
Much to the kid’s disgust, this gave us heaps of time to crack into the school work. Term 3 was finished and even a little bit of Term 4 started. We are now well ahead of “real school”, which gives us a few school free weeks of travel to really enjoy the first leg of the trip. It sounds good to us but the kids are not entirely convinced it was worth the effort.
The school related whining was only broken up by a couple of swims in the pool and a walk to a neighbourhood playground. At the end of these two days everyone was asking “when will the car be ready?”.
