After our breakdown induced late arrival to Lake Maraboon, nobody was in the mood for much of anything. In the end, it was a day to relax and take it easy.
We had discovered that we’d done a pretty fine job of parking and setting up in the dark, so with no changes required we just relaxed. The kids explored the caravan park. Eventually we decided we would only travel as far as our bikes would take us. A look at the lake and a couple of lookouts was enough. The tourist stuff could wait, we had a couple more nights for that.
