Welcome to Western Queensland, where flies outnumber people one gazillion to one. They are everywhere and try to get into everything.
Abby and Christian were expecting this, the girls however were not. Laura at times appeared to have lost her mind, doing some weird convulsions as she tried to keep them from touching any part of her body. Instructions like “just keep them out of your face” and “ignore them” are continually ignored and the convulsions continue.
Hannah seemed less concerned about them. Until one crawled up her nose. Her response resulted in the death of said fly. Unfortunately, its death occurred inside her nose. She was less than impressed when she was then required to pick it out, mining for nose gold style.
The fly nets might be a more continual presence in our lives for a little while.
