Today was all about very old stampede – a 95-million-year-old stampede of dinosaurs. We drove out to Lark Quarry to see where a dinosaur stampede occurred on what once was a mudflat.

With a lot of science, a bit of guess-work and imagination, they believe the dinosaurs having a drink stampeded when a larger predator gave chase wanting a meal. Their footprints (both predator and prey) are preserved in the rock at Lark Quarry. The girls loved it, the tour, story and footprints captured their attention.
