We had departed Darwin to head to Corroboree Billabong for a sunset boat tour. After seeing Sweetheart in the museum we were primed to see some crocodiles in the wild.

The tour didn’t disappoint. We saw both salt water and freshwater crocodiles but they were all babies. The big boys and girls (over 4m long) seemed to have been hiding out elsewhere that afternoon. Based on the recent events experienced by the tour skipper, they are definitely there and as aggressive as ever.

It was a beautiful evening, with the lagoon teeming with other wildlife and a tour boat practically to ourselves.
