Today was Laura’s special day. She had the wand to make her day special, but some poor planning by Mum and Dad meant it wasn’t quite as she had hoped.
We certainly provided the food, cake and swim she wanted but when it came to the present itself we failed. A new Nintendo game was the gift, but we didn’t realise the Nintendo was out of memory and the internet was painfully slow.
It meant it took nearly all day before she could play her new game. She was a rightfully put out but did well. The eyes eventually lit up later in the day. Sorry sweetheart.
