After two weeks in Broome it was time to (a little sadly) move on for a few days. Cygnet Bay on the Dampier Peninsular was our next stay.

Cygnet Bay is a working pearl farm and when in Rome, we decided a short tour was in order. It was very cool, with a good mix of history, the background to their operations as well as showing how pearls are collected and graded. Lucky Laura got to remove the pearl from the chosen Oyster. Turns out she has an expensive touch; it was the biggest and best pearl the tour host had recovered all week – $280.
