We had been slowly planning our journey south in our heads. Today we had to start booking it for real. We would be hitting Perth for Christmas and needed to book some accommodation.
Camping at Christmas is universally popular. Expecting to be able to turn up and get a site between mid-December and late January around Perth is delusional. We spent the day trying to Tetris together some back-to-back accommodation to get us through the tricky Christmas period.
Despite our efforts, a generous friend’s driveway will be saving our bacon for a few days!
