Having arrived in South Australia yesterday we were technically beginning to explore the Great Australia Bight.
We started exploration at the Head of the Bight. It’s the most ‘inland’ part of the bight. Head of the Bight also happens to be home to a whale interpretive centre, board walks and lookouts.
We weren’t in whale watching season, but the boardwalk and lookout take you to a very special view of the Bunda Cliffs and the pounding surf below. A great start to the SA leg of the adventure.
