A direct result of the visit to see the planes at low tide were the blisters.
Walking that kind of distance had done some damage to our poor feet. Fine sand had rubbed inside our water shoes. Christian had copped it the worst and had six or seven blisters. One was particularly nasty, big and deep and would be reminding him of his walk to the planes for some time to come.
