The effort to get there, the drive in, the heat and the early start were all factors that could have made our day in the Bungle Bungles a bad one. When we finally got there, just wow.
The Bungles Bungles were everything the hype was built up to be. We only saw them from the ground and they are special. They are arguably best viewed from the sky and that could only be magical.
It was hot, but we managed to get through the main sights we wanted. We ticked off The Domes, Cathedral Gorge, Echidna Chasm and two smaller lookouts. We were interested in Mini Palms, but the heat would have gotten the better of us. Best not spoil such a good day.
