Heading towards the Stirling Ranges, we pulled into Castle Rock for a walk and a climb.
We were heading into mountain country and wanted to see some of these spectacular granite formations. Castle Rock is home to the Granite Skywalk, a gravity defying boardwalk system that gets you right up to the peak and out over the rock. It was a steepish climb to reach the skywalk, before turning into a full on boulder scramble though a gap in the rocks. Then its some drilled in hand holds to reach the 7m ladder. Hannah found it tough, her legs are a bit short. But we all made it. The view was worth it.
Good practice for tomorrow really.
