Despite having got our dinosaur fix in Western Queensland, we found Broome had a little piece of dinosaur history as well – footprints.

Along the coastline of Broome are a series of well-preserved dinosaur footprints. Formed in a similar way to those near Winton, at the right tide, in the right place they can be spotted in the rocks. We went from one end of the dinosaur coast to the other without finding any, until at the very last stop we found two. We cheated and got shown them actually, but they were well preserved and unmistakeable.

Not to worry, there are worst things in life than exploring a beautiful coastline at low tide.
