Our final day in Kakadu was spent at another set of falls – Maguk. It is not as difficult to reach as Jim Jim Falls, so it was busier, but Maguk was still flowing.
We aren’t a fan of crowds, and we had to share. It’s not our favourite falls, but we have been rather spoilt so far. It still provided relief from yet another day with temperatures in the late-30s. We would certainly make the trip again.
Best of all Maguk had an underwater ledge that a decent swimmer can reach and sit on to admire the falls up close.
