Amongst other things we stopped in at the Organ Pipes, something Abby had been looking forward to for a while.
They were pretty unique, almost perfect hexagon columns shaped naturally out of the granite. Grouped together you could understand how they got their name. The varying heights on the rock face and size of the columns added to the effect.
Soon after we started spotting these formations all through the park in smaller little clusters.
