It was time to do some exploring around lovely Perth. Today was spent checking out its parks and gardens in our quest for cheap entertainment.
First stop was the home of a Giant of Mandurah in Subiaco. We were planning on finding all six of these beasts, so wanted to make sure we got the Subiaco one while we were nearby.
Next stop was Kings Park, doubling up as a way to see parts of the Perth Waterfront. It was pretty special, a botanical garden focussing on local instead of foreign plants, combined with some amazing views of Perth and the Swan.
Last stop was to the famous Cottesloe Beach for lunch and a look. Not a bad way to wrap up the day really.
