We attended our first real party in a long time. The Lyons were hosting a pre-Christmas get together for their friends and since we were camped in their driveway we got automatically invited.
We haven’t been to a party in a long time. Between the travelling, freeloading (preparing to travel), departing NZ and COVID it had been a while. We’d kind of forgotten what they were. Being social, making small talk, barely supervising your children. You know, party things.
This was a good night, plenty of fun was had and although we weren’t drinking, we loved not having to travel far to get home. We remember parties…
