We woke up to rain. The first rain since the unseasonal downpour way back at Fitzroy Crossing.
It wasn’t predicted and seemed to come from nowhere. 4.2mm fell overnight and it was drizzling as we packed up. It had been a long time since we’d packed up in the rain and plenty of New Zealand flashbacks were had.
No dramas though, it just made us really grateful for a full hardbody caravan.
