Being good home school parents we have to meet our obligations to the Queensland Government. We spent a day of reporting on our children’s progress to the Education Department.
It felt like being back at work, writing meaningless monthly reports. It was an absolute drag, providing adequate written responses to the boiler plate questions took half the day. When combined with selecting work samples and providing the information we’d need to maintain our accreditation the whole day was gone. A necessary evil, we were grateful we only have two children!
