It turns out those Perth folk are spoilt with the incredible Rottnest Island a short boat ride off the coast.
We had been planning a trip to Rotto almost since we decided to do Western Australia. Our day on the island did not disappoint. The Lyons joined us and we spent a day cruising the island on bikes, swimming, checking out Quokka’s, exploring and relaxing.
When it came to catch the boat back, Abby and Christian sure felt we could have made a few nights of it. It was a very, very special spot.
