Sweetheart is the name given to a crocodile. A very, very large crocodile caught near Darwin many years back.
Hannah in particular was enthralled by Sweetheart. He has been taxidermied and kept on display at the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery. They had him in all his glory, as well as the story and videos of his antics, attempted capture and ultimately his demise. She watched and listened, leading to many, many unanswerable questions.
Long after his death, Sweetheart added yet another group to his list of fans.
