It was time for Queensland children to return to school. In theory that meant us too. So Term 1 started, but not a school book was opened.
We instead tried to make it work with what we were doing. A visit to the Power Museum (Power Up), the State Logging Museum and the tallest slide in the Southern Hemisphere constituted our school day. To be fair, we made the kids answer questions as we went, even giving making them write out their answers. The day got rounded out with some PE; swimming in Big Brock Dam.
Science, HASS and PE all knocked out for week 1.
