Despite what the Queensland school calendar might say, on this little trip today marked the start of term 2.
We needed to make a head start as the tail end of the trip will be pushing it if we are going to do everything we want. It will be a sad end to the trip if we are facing an avalanche of catch-up school work. This was enough to spur the kids to make an early start, even if every other kid in the caravan park is on school holidays.
