A trip to the beach requires thongs. It would seem the Jensen children are also required to leave them behind at the beach.
Leaving the beach wasn’t going well. With two painful kids frustration was high. The other parents could only laugh and reassure us that it will not in fact get better. First Laura leaves her thongs at the beach shower. When reminded to collect them, Hannah finds this hilarious. Not five minutes later, for reasons unknown to humanity Hannah takes her thongs off before entering the car. She leaves them on the ground and we drive away.
The realisation at the caravan causes tears. Several hours later on our way to the lights, we return to find them still there. Neatly placed side by side next to where her car door would have been. Lucky for her.
