Today we got our first sighting of Uluru. None of our little travelling mob have ever seen the red heart of Australia.
It was huge. Absolutely gargantuan. We have seen some big rocks in recent times but nothing like this. It honestly takes your breath away the first time you see it. The colours, the shape, the crevices, cracks, holes and vegetation clinging to its surface.
We enjoyed the classic Uluru sunset. The colours changed, the sky changed and the rock stole the show.
