On our departure date, we had a plan to have one last swim in Litchfield at Wangi Falls. Fortunately, this plan worked as intended.
Parks had done a great job in designing the facilities at Wangi Falls. It meant even with the caravan in tow we could enter and park up. The promised swim today would be happening for sure. A walk to the top of the fall needed to be completed first (earn it) before we enjoyed a swim at the bottom.
This is by far the most popular and touristy falls in the park. It has a huge swimming hole at the bottom so we didn’t feel cramped. The girls loved it as they could touch the bottom in places, so Wangi Falls (unlike Tjaetaba) got their approval.
