Wilabalangalo was recommended to us as a short walk to get out and see what the area is like. It was open, so we went.

It’s an interesting little place, held by the National Trust of South Australia, it was previously a private property. It now offers a few short walking trails and a lookout to see this section of the river. The trails went right up along the cliffs and down to the river’s edge.

It wasn’t spectacular, but it was nice to be able to see the landscape and get close to the might Murray.
