It had been a bit of a battle against the wind since we spent our nights at Cape Range. It had been making quite a few activities less pleasant but today it stepped up a notch.

It was the strongest wind we’d had since the abomination as we first entered the NT. It meant our second attempt to see the sharks was no better than our first. It also meant we achieved some terrible fuel economy as we headed towards Carnarvon.

We’d hoped the wind might be less strong there. It was not.

A second trip to the Shark Hatchery yielded a few more sharks spotted
