We decided to head to the inland side of Kalbarri National Park. For days we had debated if we did the Loop Walk, a 9km trail that gets you close to the landscape.
We decided against it. The heat was a risk in the inland sections of the park and the trail closed to walkers from 7am. We made do with the Natures Window, the Skywalk, Z Bend River and a few of the lookouts. Much safer and still made for a series of spectacular views.
The girls particularly enjoyed watching the (sometimes terrified) abseilers who used the faces at Z Bend River as their playground.
